Nick Ruotola is a retired Navy Chief Operations Specialist. During his time in the Navy, he worked extensively with the Global Command and Control System – Maritime (GCCS-M) and the Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TWCS) as both an operator and instructor. Serving as a DOD contractor during the past 15 years, he served as a Ship’s Self-Defense System MK II Technical Trainer. He supported the SPAWAR/NAVWAR organization’s GCCS-M Program Office as a Technical Trainer supporting sailors both at sea and ashore, and he developed curriculum for the Navy’s GCCS-M Watch Officer/Operator course. As a Test Engineer at SPAWAR/NIWC, he performed IV&V, T&E, and Integration testing for all versions of GCCS-M. Nick supports MRP Training Solutions as a Technical Instructor in support of the CTP Team Trainer course and the SLAMEX office.
Nick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He has attained various industry certifications including CompTIA’s Security+ and Linux+, as well as Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in various configurations and servers.
