As part of the U.S. Navy’s mission to support readiness through modernized, relevant learning and training, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) has awarded Hunter Ingalls/Camber, the Prime Contractor, a $25.2 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), cost-plus-fixed-fee, multiple-award contract to provide training services for tactical afloat shipboard, ashore and submarine command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. MRP Training Solutions (MRP) is a subcontractor to Hunter Ingalls/Camber.
The 3-year contract includes two 1-year option periods, which, if exercised, could bring the value of this contract to over $40 million. Work will be performed on ships and land sites worldwide and, if all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2022. This is one of four multiple-award contracts and all awardees will have the opportunity to compete for task orders during the ordering period. Through this IDIQ contract, MRP will support Hunter Ingalls/Camber with the delivery of integrated and comprehensive Manpower, Personnel, and Training products and solutions that align to the future vision of Navy training. The result will be a learning environment that incorporates adaptive learning, with the ability to integrate emerging technologies such as mobile technology, and modeling and simulation.
“We have a long history with SPAWAR, SSC PAC and Navy C4I training,” explains Steve Ziegenbusch, MRP’s Senior C4I Subject Matter Expert. “As the Navy continues its commitment to readiness through training, we are pleased to continue this relationship to help prepare the Sailor in dynamic and innovative ways.”
