Dan Smith has over 30 years of experience involving Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. As a master level training specialist in support of the Integrated Battle Force Training (IBFT), he was one of the primary instructors for Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS), Master’s Level End-to-End training, Common Operational Picture (COP) Advanced, Over the Horizon Targeting (OTH-T)/C4I and C4I Systems Engineering at Afloat Training Group Atlantic (ATGLANT). Dan was also a Senior Technical Advisor to U.S. Navy Strike Group and Squadron Commanders while working as a CTP/COP SME during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) for Commander Fleet Forces Command (CFFC).
Currently, Dan is an Information and Communications Managers Course (ICMC) instructor and has also taught the Information Professional Officer Basic Course.
